September 4, 2025: Motorcycle-Car Collision on 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles Kills One, Injures Another

A tragic collision on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles claimed the life of 35-year-old Jisela Sifuentes and left another person injured on Thursday evening. The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. near West Florence Avenue and involved a motorcycle and a sedan.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers arrived to find both vehicles with significant damage and debris scattered across multiple lanes. Emergency responders pronounced Sifuentes dead at the scene, while another individual was transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether Sifuentes was operating the motorcycle or the car at the time of the collision. Preliminary reports suggest speed may have been a factor, though the official cause remains under investigation.
